Biography

Kristian Eidnes Andersen is a Danish composer and audio engineer. He graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1993 and heads its department of sound design.

He has worked extensively with director Lars von Trier. As composer and sound designer on Antichrist (2009) he received a Bodil Special Award. His other composer credits include Submarino (2010) and The Woman That Dreamed About a Man (2010). As sound designer his credits include Dancer in the Dark (2000), The Hunt (2012) and Nymphomaniac (2013).

Andersen has received multiple Robert Awards for sound design and music.
