Biography
Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer. His works have been used in numerous films and television series, including Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995), where pieces such as the fourth movement of his Symphony No. 9 appear.
Born in Bonn in 1770, Beethoven composed across the transition from the Classical to the Romantic era. His music features in other productions such as Fantasia (1940), Fantasia 2000 (2000) and Your Lie in April (2014). He died in 1827.
