Biography
Marina Sirtis is a British-American actress. She was born on 29 March 1955 in London to Greek parents and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
She is best known for playing Counselor Deanna Troi in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994) and the feature films Star Trek Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). She has appeared in other television series including NCIS, Titans and Stargate SG-1.
Sirtis began her career in British repertory theatre and supporting film roles before moving to the United States in 1986. She married rock guitarist Michael Lamper in 1992.
