Biography
Mark Waters is a cinematographer and director of photography. He served as the primary director of photography on the first two series of Torchwood (2006–2008). His work on series 1 received a Welsh BAFTA award for Best Director of Photography Drama.
Waters later worked as the sole director of photography on The Sarah Jane Adventures (2009–2011) and contributed to multiple episodes of Doctor Who (2010–2022), including stories from the Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi eras. His other credits include Wizards vs. Aliens (2012–2013), Baker Boys (2011), Agatha Raisin (2016) and later series such as Grantchester and All Creatures Great and Small.
