Biography
Mike Spragg is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He began his career shooting documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4 and the Discovery Channel in the 1990s before moving into drama in the early 2000s.
He has worked as director of photography on series including Black Mirror (2011), Doctor Who (2005), Fresh Meat (2011), The Last Kingdom (2015), The Bastard Executioner (2015), Midnight, Texas (2017), Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman's Butler (2019) and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (2020). Spragg received a BAFTA nomination for the BBC series Seven Wonders of the Industrial World and an ASC nomination for Strike Back.
