Biography
Niels Sejer is a Danish production designer and architect. Born on 4 September 1963, he trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, graduating in 1992. He began working in film in the mid-1990s and has focused on production design since 1998.
Sejer is known for his work on the Danish series The Killing (2007) and The Bridge (2011). His other credits include The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009), A Royal Affair (2012), Dead Man Down (2013), Flatliners (2017) and Borgen (2022). He has received three Robert Awards for best production design, as well as an Amanda Award and the Henning Bahs Prize.
