Biography
Philip Holahan is a cinematographer and camera operator. His early credits include first assistant camera on Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) and camera operator roles on films such as 1969 (1988).
He has worked extensively in television as director of photography, including episodes of ER (2005), The West Wing (2005 and Season 6), Dr. Vegas (2004–2006), Boston Legal (2008) and The Gates (2010). Film credits as director of photography include Beverly Hills Ninja (1997, second unit), A Stranger in the Kingdom (1999), My Dinner with Jimi (2003) and Hindsight (2008). He has also directed the short film Stubble Trouble (2000). Holahan is based in Los Angeles and has been married to actress Heidi Swedberg since 1994; they have two children.
