Biography
Pip Torrens is an English actor. He was born on 2 June 1960 in Bromley, Kent.
Torrens is known for playing Tommy Lascelles in the Netflix series The Crown (2016–2019), Lord Massen in The Nevers (2021) and Herr Klaus Starr in Preacher (2016–2019). Film roles include the Netherfield butler in Pride & Prejudice (2005), Colonel Kaplan in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Dr Hexler in The Danish Girl (2015), the BBC producer in Darkest Hour (2017) and Major Tompkins in War Horse (2011). He has also appeared in Doctor Who (2005) and voiced The Curator in the Dark Pictures Anthology video game series.
In 2025 he played Dr Isaac Wright in the Apple TV+ series Down Cemetery Road.
