Biography
Robert L. Swanson was an American film and television editor. He worked on numerous series in the 1960s and 1970s, including The Fugitive (1963), Star Trek (1966), Mission: Impossible (1966), Mannix (1967), Happy Days (1974) and Fantasy Island (1978).
Born on 27 September 1914 in Illinois, Swanson edited feature films such as Springfield Rifle (1952) early in his career. He later contributed to dozens of television episodes and received a Primetime Emmy Award. He died on 7 November 1978 in Burbank, California.
