Biography
Ronald Shusett (28 June 1935 – 29 August 2024) was an American screenwriter and film producer. He is best known for his work in science fiction and horror.
With Dan O'Bannon, he co-wrote the story for Alien (1979). In 1974 he optioned the Philip K. Dick short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", which became the basis for Total Recall (1990), on which he received screenplay and producer credits alongside O'Bannon and others. He shared story credit on Alien vs. Predator (2004).
