Biography
Sarah Flack is an American film editor. She began her career as a production assistant on Kafka (1991), where she met director Steven Soderbergh, and later edited his film Schizopolis (1997). She has collaborated extensively with Soderbergh on The Limey (1999) and Full Frontal (2002), and with Sofia Coppola on multiple films including Lost in Translation (2003), Marie Antoinette (2006), Somewhere (2010), The Bling Ring (2013), The Beguiled (2017), On the Rocks (2020) and Priscilla (2023).
Flack's editing on Lost in Translation earned her the BAFTA Award for Best Editing. She shared a Primetime Emmy Award and an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award with Robert Pulcini for their work on the HBO film Cinema Verite (2011).
