Biography
Bill Murray is an American actor and comedian. He was born on 21 September 1950 in Wilmette, Illinois.
Murray is known for his role as Dr. Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters films, including Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024). He has also appeared in Groundhog Day (1993), Lost in Translation (2003), several Wes Anderson films such as The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), and as Lord Krylar in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
He began his career in comedy on Saturday Night Live in the late 1970s and has received awards including a BAFTA, two Emmys, a Golden Globe and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
