Biography
Shane Rimmer, born Shane Lance Deacon, was a Canadian actor and screenwriter who spent most of his career in the United Kingdom. He appeared in over 160 films and television programmes, usually in supporting roles as North American characters.
Rimmer provided the voice of Scott Tracy in the Gerry Anderson series Thunderbirds (1965–1966) and its spin-off films. He had a long association with Anderson's productions and appeared in several James Bond films, including The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Other credits include Dr. Strangelove (1964), Gandhi (1982), Out of Africa (1985) as Belknap, Spy Game (2001) and Batman Begins (2005). He died in 2019.
