Biography
Shelly Westerman is an American film and television editor and producer. She has edited episodes of the Hulu series Only Murders in the Building (2022–present), on which she also serves as co-producer, as well as Halston (2021), Ratched (2020), Pose (2018–2019) and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story (2018).
Westerman began her editing career in the late 1990s after working in computer operations. Her early credits include assistant editor roles on Velvet Goldmine (1998) and Nora Ephron’s You’ve Got Mail (1998). She is a member of the American Cinema Editors and has received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her work on American Crime Story (2018) and Only Murders in the Building (2024).
