Biography
Stanley Fernandez Jr., also credited as Stanley Fernandez, is a cinematographer and director of photography. He began his career in the camera department on feature films including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) and The Day After Tomorrow (2004). He later worked as first assistant camera and camera operator on productions such as A Quiet Place (2018), The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and tick, tick... BOOM! (2021).
Fernandez has served as cinematographer on television series including episodes of American Horror Story (2022 and 2026), Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (2024), American Horror Stories (2024), Brilliant Minds (2025–2026) and The Beauty (2026). Born in Brooklyn to Ecuadorian parents, he trained at CSC/ARRI and is a member of IATSE Local 600.
