Biography
Stephen L. Posey is an American cinematographer and television director. He began his career in the 1970s and 1980s working in the camera department and as director of photography on feature films including The Slumber Party Massacre (1982), Bloody Birthday (1981), Savage Streets (1984) and Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985).
Posey later directed episodes of numerous television series, including Tour of Duty (1987), Babylon 5 (1994), Xena: Warrior Princess (1995), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995), Space: Above and Beyond (1996), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1998–1999). He was born on 16 February 1949 in the United States.
