Biography
Tom Priestley Jr. is a cinematographer and camera operator. He began his career in the camera department, working as an assistant camera operator or camera operator on films including Network (1976), Annie Hall (1977), Saturday Night Fever (1977), Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) and Amadeus (1984).
He served as director of photography on 26 episodes of the television series Miami Vice (1985–1986). Priestley Jr. later worked as director of photography on feature films such as The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), Barbershop (2002) and Undercover Brother (2002), and as second-unit director of photography on titles including Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) and Demolition Man (1993). He is the son of editor Tom Priestley and nephew of cinematographer Jack Priestley.
