Biography
Wunmi Mosaku is a Nigerian-British actress. Born in Zaria, Nigeria, she moved to Manchester, England, at the age of one and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2007.
She first gained attention for roles in the BBC miniseries Moses Jones (2009) and the ITV series Vera (2011–2012). Mosaku won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the television film Damilola, Our Loved Boy (2016). Other notable credits include His House (2020), Lovecraft Country (2020), Loki (2021–2023) as Hunter B-15, and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).
In the 2025 film Sinners, she played Annie. For the role, she received the BAFTA Film Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Gotham Independent Film Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance, along with nominations for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and other awards.
