Biography
Andrea Riseborough is an English actress. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2005 and received the Ian Charleson Award in 2006 for her stage performances in Miss Julie and Measure for Measure.
She made her film debut in Venus (2006) and has appeared in Never Let Me Go (2010), Oblivion (2013), Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), Nocturnal Animals (2016), The Death of Stalin (2017), Mandy (2018) and Lee (2024), in which she played Audrey Withers. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for To Leslie (2022).
On television she was nominated for a BAFTA for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Long Walk to Finchley (2008) and appeared in Black Mirror (2011).
