Biography

Bob Murawski is an American film editor. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in telecommunications and began his career as an assistant editor before working primarily with director Sam Raimi.

Murawski edited the Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), Army of Darkness (1992), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) and The First Omen (2024). He shared the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for The Hurt Locker (2008) with his wife, editor Chris Innis. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors.

With Sage Stallone, Murawski co-founded Grindhouse Releasing, a company specialising in the restoration and distribution of cult films.
