Biography

Christopher Nelson is a television editor, producer and director. His credits include episodes of Lost (2004–2010), Mad Men (2007–2010), Six Feet Under (2001–2005), The West Wing (1999–2006), House (2004–2012), Fargo (2014–2024), Bates Motel (2013–2017) and The Boroughs (2026).

Nelson received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series for the Lost series finale and further Emmy nominations for work on Lost, Mad Men, Six Feet Under and other series. He has also received American Cinema Editors nominations for episodes of Lost, Mad Men and the The West Wing pilot.

On Bates Motel he additionally served as co-producer and directed two episodes.
