Biography

David Harbour is an American actor. He gained recognition for his role as Jim Hopper in the Netflix series Stranger Things (2016–2025), receiving two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

His film roles include Jack Salter in Gran Turismo (2023), Matt Wertz in No Sudden Move (2021), Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian in Black Widow (2021) and Thunderbolts (2025), and the title character in Hellboy (2019). He studied at Dartmouth College and has appeared in earlier films including Brokeback Mountain (2005) and Quantum of Solace* (2008).
