Biography

David Livingston is an American television director and producer. He is known primarily for his work on the Star Trek franchise.

He began in the industry as a unit production manager on Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1988 and rose to supervising producer on that series as well as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. Livingston directed a total of 62 episodes across the four post-original Star Trek series: two of The Next Generation, 17 of Deep Space Nine, 28 of Voyager and 15 of Enterprise. He also received story credit for the Deep Space Nine episode "The Nagus".

In 1994 he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series as part of the production team for Star Trek: The Next Generation.
