Biography
Hannah Louise Shearer (born 25 August 1945) is a television writer and producer from Los Angeles. She began her career as a production assistant on the 1974 series Sierra and went on to write and produce episodes of Emergency!.
Shearer wrote for Cagney & Lacey and served as a producer on the first season of Knight Rider in 1982. She contributed several episodes to Star Trek: The Next Generation between 1988 and 1989, including work as executive story editor, and provided the story for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Q-Less" in 1993. Her other credits include MacGyver, Street Hawk and daytime dramas such as Days of Our Lives and Port Charles.
