Biography
Hank Corwin is an American film editor. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Film Editing, for The Big Short (2015), Vice (2018) and Don't Look Up (2021). He has also received BAFTA Award nominations for Best Editing.
Corwin began his career as an additional editor on Oliver Stone's JFK (1991) and went on to edit Stone's Natural Born Killers (1994), Nixon (1995) and U Turn (1997). He has collaborated frequently with Terrence Malick on The New World (2005), The Tree of Life (2011) and Song to Song (2017), and with Adam McKay on the films noted above. Other credits include The Horse Whisperer (1998).
In 2023 he served as one of the editors on Gareth Edwards's The Creator.
