Biography
Hans Beimler is a television writer and producer. Born in Mexico City in 1953, he is Mexican-born American and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in film production in 1977.
He began his screenwriting career on Fame and Knightwatch, then joined the staff of Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1988 as a story editor and co-producer, frequently collaborating with Richard Manning. He later served as co-executive producer, director and writer on TekWar before working on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine from 1995 to 1999 as a writer and producer.
Beimler has also written episodes of The Dresden Files and The Twilight Zone. He received a Hugo Award nomination for the Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations".
