Biography
Jeff Russo is an American composer, songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and music producer. Born on 31 August 1969 in Los Angeles, he began his career as a founding member of the rock band Tonic and later the Americana band Low Stars.
Russo is known for his television scores, including Fargo (2014–), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2017, The Umbrella Academy (2019), The Night Of (2016), Legion (2017), multiple Star Trek series such as Discovery, Picard and Strange New Worlds, For All Mankind, Alien: Earth (2025) and Cape Fear (2026). He has also scored films including Mile 22 (2018) and the video game What Remains of Edith Finch.
