Biography

Jeffrey Ford (born 16 February 1968) is an American film editor. He was born in Novato, California, and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. He began his career as an assistant editor in the mid-1990s and made his feature debut as editor on The Yards (2000).

Ford is best known for his work on Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Avengers (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). He has frequently collaborated with directors Joe and Anthony Russo. He suggested the line "I am Iron Man" for the ending of Avengers: Endgame. He was nominated for an ACE Eddie Award for The Family Stone (2005) and a Golden Satellite Award for One Hour Photo (2002). In 2022 he provided vocal effects for Man-Thing in the television special Werewolf by Night.
