Biography
Jinx Godfrey is a British film editor. She studied at Coventry University from 1981 to 1985 and began her career in the mid-1990s as an assistant editor before working on documentaries and features. She has edited numerous commercials and collaborated regularly with director James Marsh.
Godfrey edited the 2017 Black Mirror episode "Arkangel", directed by Jodie Foster, as well as Man on Wire (2008), The Theory of Everything (2014) and three episodes of Chernobyl (2019). She has won a BAFTA for best editing and two ACE Eddie awards, and served as editorial consultant on the Oscar-winning My Octopus Teacher (2020).
