Biography
John Farrell, also credited as J.P. Farrell or John P. Farrell, is a film and television editor and producer. He worked as an editor on the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–1996), Star Trek: Voyager (1995–1996) and Star Trek: Enterprise (2001), later serving as producer or co-producer on the latter three series.
Farrell received an Emmy Award nomination in 1994 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Editing for a Series – Single Camera Production, for his work on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "All Good Things...". Earlier credits as editor include the television films Maid in America (1982), North Beach and Rawhide (1985), The Christmas Gift (1986), Ladykillers (1988) and K-9000 (1991), as well as episodes of Fame (1985–1986). He also worked as associate producer on the series Hooperman (1988–1989).
