Biography
David Ramirez is an American film and television editor. He worked as an assistant editor on Cabaret (1972) and as associate film editor on The Blues Brothers (1980). He later served as editor on features including New York, New York (1977), American Pop (1981), Barbarosa (1982) and Still Smokin (1983).
On television, Ramirez edited episodes of The A-Team and other series. He edited 15 episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1992–1994), receiving a Primetime Emmy Award nomination (shared) for the series finale "All Good Things...". He edited 37 episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1995–1999).
