Biography
John S. Lyons is a film producer and casting director. He is credited as producer on Boogie Nights (1997), Hard Eight (1996), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), Pieces of April (2003) and Sisters (2015). He also served as executive producer on The Young Pope (2016) and The Pentaverate (2022).
Lyons began his career as a producer with the 1995 television film Blown Sideways Through Life. He has worked extensively as a casting director, with credits including Raising Arizona (1987), Miller's Crossing (1990), Barton Fink (1991), Fargo (1996) and The Big Lebowski (1998). In 2022 he produced the documentary All the Beauty and the Bloodshed.
