Biography
Johnnie Burn (born May 1970) is a British sound designer, re-recording mixer and supervising sound editor. He co-founded Wave Studios in London in 1999.
Burn is known for his long-term collaborations with directors Jonathan Glazer, Yorgos Lanthimos and Jordan Peele. His credits include Under the Skin (2013), The Lobster (2015), The Favourite (2018), Nope (2022), The Zone of Interest (2023) and Poor Things (2023). He also contributed music to September Says (2025).
For The Zone of Interest, Burn shared the 2024 Academy Award for Best Sound with Tarn Willers.
