Biography
Jon Peters (born 2 June 1945) is an American film producer. He began his career as a hairdresser in Hollywood before moving into film production through his association with Barbra Streisand, receiving a producing credit on her 1976 remake of A Star Is Born.
In the 1980s he formed a partnership with Peter Guber, producing films including Flashdance (1983), Rain Man (1988) and Batman (1989). He later founded Peters Entertainment and has produced or executive-produced titles such as Superman Returns (2006), Man of Steel (2013) and the 2018 remake of A Star Is Born.
