Biography
Mark Tildesley is a British production designer. He studied theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art in the 1980s before moving into film.
His credits include production design on 28 Days Later (2002), 28 Weeks Later (2007), Sunshine (2007), The Constant Gardener (2005), Phantom Thread (2017), No Time to Die (2021), The Banshees of Inisherin (2022), F1 (2025) and Jay Kelly (2025). He has collaborated with directors including Danny Boyle, Michael Winterbottom, Mike Leigh, Paul Thomas Anderson and Cary Fukunaga.
In 1998 he won a BAFTA Cymru award for best production design for House of America. He also contributed to the design of the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony and received an Emmy Award for best art direction.
