Biography
Michael Seresin is a New Zealand cinematographer born on 17 July 1942 in Wellington. He has worked extensively in film, including as director of photography on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014).
Seresin is noted for collaborations with director Alan Parker. He also directed the 1988 film Homeboy. In addition to his film work, he founded the Seresin Estate winery in Marlborough in 1992; the property was later sold in 2018. He holds the ONZM honour.
