Biography

Peter Chernin is an American film and television producer and businessman. He is the chairman and CEO of The Chernin Group, which he founded in 2010, and has produced films through Chernin Entertainment.

Chernin previously served as president and chief operating officer of News Corp and as chairman and CEO of the Fox Group from 1996 to 2009. His credits as producer include Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Hidden Figures (2016), The Greatest Showman (2017), War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) and Ford v Ferrari (2019).
