Biography

Michael Tronick is an American film editor. He has editing credits on more than 25 feature films, including Days of Thunder (1990), Scent of a Woman (1992) and True Romance (1993). He has also worked as an additional editor on films such as Iron Man (2008) and Gone Baby Gone (2007).

Tronick has collaborated multiple times with directors Tony Scott and Martin Brest. He received American Cinema Editors Eddie Award nominations for his work on Scent of a Woman and Hairspray (2007). Since 2012 he has served on the board of governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Editors Branch and is a member of the Academy's Science and Technology Council.
