Biography
Nicolas Becker is a French composer and sound engineer. He is credited with the music for the film Sound of Metal (2020), on which he also worked as sound designer.
Becker began his career as a foley artist and sound designer on films including Gravity (2013) and Arrival (2016). He later moved into composition, with credits including A Prayer Before Dawn (2018) and Asphalt City (2023).
For Sound of Metal, Becker shared an Academy Award for Best Sound in 2021.
