Biography
Paul Herman (29 March 1946 – 29 March 2022) was an American actor. He appeared in numerous films, including Once Upon a Time in America (1984), GoodFellas (1990), Heat (1995), Casino (1995), Sleepers (1996), Silver Linings Playbook (2012) as Randy, American Hustle (2013) as Alfonse Simone, Joy (2015) and The Irishman (2019) as Whispers DiTullio.
On television, he had a recurring role as Peter 'Beansie' Gaeta in The Sopranos and played Marvin in Entourage. He also appeared in other Scorsese films such as The Color of Money (1986) and The Last Temptation of Christ (1988). In the 1990s, he and his brother ran the Columbus Cafe in New York, which was frequented by actors and others in the performing arts.
