Biography

Robert Lederman, also credited as Bob Lederman, is a film and television editor, writer and director. He worked extensively on the Star Trek franchise, serving as editor on Star Trek: The Next Generation (1988–1992), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–1994), Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001) and Star Trek: Enterprise (2001–2005). He also contributed stories to two episodes of Deep Space Nine and one of Voyager, and directed two episodes of The Next Generation.

Earlier in his career Lederman worked in the editorial department on Flashdance (1983) and edited episodes of MacGyver. He received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 1990 for Outstanding Editing for a Series – Single Camera Production for his work on the The Next Generation episode "Deja Q". Other editing credits include Morgan Stewart's Coming Home (1987) and The Dead Zone (2002).
