Biography
Rose Troche is an American film and television director, producer and screenwriter. Born in Chicago in 1964 to Puerto Rican parents, she earned an undergraduate degree in art history from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a graduate degree in film.
She made her feature debut with the independent film Go Fish (1994), which she co-wrote and directed. Subsequent films include Bedrooms and Hallways (1998) and The Safety of Objects (2001). In television, Troche has directed episodes of Six Feet Under (2001), The L Word (2004–2009), The Walking Dead (2010) and Shameless (2011), among others.
