Biography
Stefan Schwartz (born 1 May 1963) is an English and Canadian film and television director, writer and former actor. He began his career as an actor, appearing in series including Inspector Morse and Doctor Who. He made his feature directorial debut with Soft Top Hard Shoulder (1992), which won two BAFTA Scotland awards and the audience prize at the London Film Festival.
Schwartz wrote and directed the feature film Shooting Fish (1997). He has directed multiple episodes of the BBC series Spooks (2002) and Luther (2010), as well as episodes of Dexter (2006), The Walking Dead (2010), The Americans (2013), The Boys (2019) and other television series.
