Biography

Tim Squyres is an American film editor. Born on 29 March 1959 in Wenonah, New Jersey, he graduated from Cornell University. He has edited around 30 feature films and maintains a long collaboration with director Ang Lee.

Squyres edited Ang Lee's The Wedding Banquet (1993), Eat Drink Man Woman (1994), Sense and Sensibility (1995), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Hulk (2003), Lust, Caution (2007), Taking Woodstock (2009), Life of Pi (2012) and Gemini Man (2019). His other credits include Gosford Park (2001) and Unbroken (2014).

His work on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Life of Pi earned Academy Award nominations for Best Film Editing. Squyres is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
