Biography
Tom Szentgyorgyi is an American television producer and writer. He contributed teleplays and stories to NYPD Blue (1993) and wrote episodes of Sports Night (1998) and Law & Order (1990).
He later served as producer on NYPD Blue and worked as writer and executive producer on The Mentalist (2008). Other credits include writing and producing roles on Lie to Me (2009), Bates Motel (2013), Bull (2016), FBI (2018) and CSI: Vegas (2021).
Szentgyorgyi has also written for the stage. His play A Family Man received a Joseph Jefferson Award Citation for New Work in 1995.
