Biography
Will Patton is an American actor. He was born William Rankin Patton on 14 June 1954 in Charleston, South Carolina, and attended the North Carolina School of the Arts.
Patton began his career in theatre and won two Obie Awards for Best Actor, for the off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love and the Public Theater production of What Did He See?. His film roles include Chick in Armageddon (1998), Coach Bill Yoast in Remember the Titans (2000), Atley Jackson in Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000) and General Bethlehem in The Postman (1997). He starred as Colonel Dan Weaver in the television series Falling Skies (2011–2015) and appeared as Garrett Randall in Yellowstone (2018–2022).
Patton has also worked as an audiobook narrator.
