Biography
William James Teegarden is a production designer and art director, also credited as Jim Teegarden, William T. Teegarden and William J. Teegarden.
He began in the art department as a set designer on films including E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), The Karate Kid Part II (1986) and Scrooged (1988). He later worked as assistant art director on Back to the Future Part II (1989) and art director on Jurassic Park (1993), Forrest Gump (1994), Independence Day (1996), Amistad (1997), Cast Away (2000) and A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001). He served as production designer on What Lies Beneath (2000) and several short films.
He is the father of Greg Teegarden.
