Biography
Alessandro Nivola is an American actor. He was born on 28 June 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Yale University with a BA in English in 1994.
Nivola made his film debut in Face/Off (1997) and has appeared in Jurassic Park III (2001), American Hustle (2013), Selma (2014), A Most Violent Year (2014), You Were Never Really Here (2017), Amsterdam (2022), The Brutalist (2024) as Attila, Kraven the Hunter (2024) as Aleksei Sytsevich, and The Room Next Door (2024) as a policeman. He has received a Screen Actors Guild Award and nominations for a Tony Award and an Independent Spirit Award. He has been married to actress Emily Mortimer since 2003.
