Biography
Andrew Dunn BSC is a British cinematographer. Born in London, he studied film at the University of Westminster (formerly London Polytechnic) and joined the BBC, where he began his professional career.
He is known for his television work, including cinematography on the BBC series Edge of Darkness (1985), as well as Threads (1984) and the television film Tumbledown (1988). These earned him three BAFTA Television Awards for Best Film Cameraman. In features, his credits include The Bodyguard (1992), The Madness of King George (1994), Practical Magic (1998), The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Hitch (2005), Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), The Butler (2013) and Bridget Jones's Baby (2016). He has received a British Society of Cinematographers Award and an Evening Standard British Film Award for The Madness of King George.
