Biography

Christophe Beck, also credited as Jean-Christophe Beck, is a Canadian composer of film and television scores. He studied music at Yale University and completed the film scoring programme at the University of Southern California.

Beck is known for his work on Disney productions including Frozen (2013) and Frozen II (2019), the Ant-Man films (2015–2023), WandaVision (2021) and Hawkeye (2021). He composed the scores for The Hangover (2009) and its sequels, Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023), and several films directed by Shawn Levy. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for his music on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and is the brother of composer and musician Chilly Gonzales.
